The members of Station 293 are proud to announce the arrival of the new 293 Rescue.The rig is a 2010 Sutphen Custom Monarch Rescue Pumper with a 1750Gpm pump and a 750 tank. The members would like to thank the residents of West Mifflin for their continued support, with out you, purchases of life saving equipment like this would not be possible. This new truck is expected to be placed in service in the near future once all members complete training on the new apparatus. Feel free to stop by and check this rig out for yourself as pictures just dont do it justice. |

Incident Report
08/11/2010 - Station 293 responded to 2 calls toady. Around 1500 station 293 was dispatched to assist the police with a high tension wire down. 293 Utility responded and assisted with traffic until Duquense Light arrived on scene. During the wire down call station 293 was also alerted to assist 171 (Homestead) with a lock out detail. Station 293 was cancelled before leaving the station.
